Family Matters

Early in my career, all I could think about was achieving financial success. Having this drive wasn’t a bad thing, but I was worried that my son was growing up fast, and that he would soon be off to college and beyond.

Early in my career, all I could think about was achieving financial success. Having this drive wasn’t a bad thing, but I was worried that my son was growing up fast, and that he would soon be off to college and beyond. Life is too short, and I knew I needed to be spending as much time as possible with the people who mattered most: my family. The balance between business and family may be the hardest thing to manage in life. On one hand, I wanted to provide the best life possible for my family. On the other hand, I wanted to spend as much time as possible with my family.

Rehabbing the 100-year-old Pillars brought out the amazing interior design talent my wife possessed. This skill made The Pillars a wonderful place to live and ensured its resale value. Selling a custom home like The Pillars within 9 days of it being listed is a feat in and of itself. It just demonstrates the extraordinary work that my wife put into the project, giving the house its unique appeal. My wife naturally mastered a talent for making a dollar spent on the rehab and interior design look like $ 1.50. I stress this concept repeatedly with architects in my business; mastering this skill has infinite value to a real estate business.
